This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we use your information to run the service and for nothing else. We do not sell it.
Who we are
Alexander Tkach d/b/a Galaxy Automations provides business texting services to local service businesses. This policy covers both this marketing website and the texting service itself. Where we act on behalf of a business customer, that business decides who it contacts and why; we handle the messages for them.
Information we collect
From website visitors: whatever you type into the demo or contact form, which is your name, business name, trade, phone number, email address and any message you add. Our host records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. From our business customers: account and billing information, their business phone number, and the customer contact lists they choose to upload. From their customers: phone numbers and the content of text messages exchanged with the business.
How we use it
To provide the service, meaning sending and receiving texts on behalf of our business customers. To reply to demo and contact requests. To bill our customers. To keep the service working and to investigate abuse. To meet carrier and legal requirements, including proving that a recipient consented and that opt-outs were honored. We do not sell personal information. We do not use our customers’ contact lists for our own marketing, and we do not use one customer’s data to benefit another.
Mobile information
Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with the subcontractors that help us deliver messages, such as telecom providers, solely to provide the service.
Sharing
We share information with the service providers that let us run the service: the telecom providers that deliver and receive text messages, our payment processor for billing, and the host that serves this website, which is Netlify. Each handles it only to provide their part of the service. We also share information when the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena, and we will tell the affected customer unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet legal and carrier record-keeping obligations, which for consent and opt-out records is generally several years. Business customers can export their data or ask us to delete it at any time. When a business cancels, we keep only what carrier compliance requires and delete the rest.
Security
Information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with access limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
Reply STOP to any text to opt out of messages from that business. Email us at alex@galaxyautomations.ai to see what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of these. We do not charge for handling a request and we do not require an account to make one.
Children
The service is sold to businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child’s information reached us, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers or advertising pixels. Nothing here follows you to another site. If we add analytics later we will name the product in this section before turning it on.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page, and we will email active customers before any change that materially affects how we handle their information.
